My name is Amal Wahba Abdelwahab,I am 24 years old, from Cairo, Egypt, and I live in Shubra ELkheima. Since I was a child, I always dreamed of changing my life. One of my biggest dreams was to learn english and speak it fluently. However, financial circumstances were not easy. Coming from a middle income family. I couldn’t afford to pay for educational courses. As the years passed, I started to feel my dreams slipping away, especially when I turned 27. I felt like time was running out, and i was stuck without any significant achievements.

The one person who always believed in me was my mother. She saw my potential, encouraged me to dream big, and gave me the motivation indeed to keep going. Then, LP4Y came into my life, a chance I had been waiting for, a chance to change everything.

At first, my feelings were mixed. I was excited about this opportunity, but I was also scared. I didn’t know  how to speak English, and I lacked the self-confidence to talk in front of others. On top of that, the distance between my home and the center was very far. But I was up early every day and made the long journey because I believed in my dreams and knew LP4Y was the key to achieving them.

When I first started at LP4Y, I felt nervous and afraid of failure, but with the unlimited support of the coach and mentors, I gradually realized that fear is just the first step toward success.

I began learning not just english but how to lead myself and others. I learned how to organize my priorities, discover my dreams, and figure out how to achieve them. When I did my first presentation, it was a big milestone for me and showed me that I was finally on the right track.

But LP4Y is not just a place for learning, it's a life changing experience. I shared many beautiful moments with my teammates. We ate together, and supported each other in every way. Activities like cleaning and painting the center brought us closer as a team. I became a team leader, and the role taught me responsibility and how to help others succeed.

Currently, I'm in the management step, feeling stronger and more confident than ever. One of the most impactful experiences for me has been teaching children. Seeing their smiles and sharing knowledge with them has been a source of immense happiness. Those moments were not just about teaching but also about personal growth.

LP4Y hasn’t just changed me professionally, it has completely rebuilt my character. I came here feeling lost, but step by step I became stronger and more prepared for the future. My mother is proud of me now, and for the first time in my life, I'm proud of myself too. When I look at old pictures of myself and compare them to who I am today, I see a journey filled with growth, learning, and determination.

I believe that when I finish my time here in three months, I will leave stronger and more ready to face the world. Today, I'm not just dreaming of achieving my goals but also of helping others find the same opportunity I had. We have organized awareness campaigns to introduce underprivileged Youth to LP4Y and give them the chance to change their lives.

I wanted to share my story to inspire everyone who reads it. LP4Y is not just a stop on my journey, it’s the starting point for a life filled with hope, confidence, and ambition. Age is not a barrier, and fear is not the end. With determination and support, we can rebuild ourselves and start again.
