LP4Y helped me discover my strengths,

My name is Toulai. I am 18 years old, I am from Syria, and I am living in Lebanon.

Before joining LP4Y, my goals were not very clear. During the program, I learned how to set my goals and create a plan for my future. LP4Y helped me discover my strengths, understand what I want in both my personal and professional life, and work step by step to achieve my goals. LP4Y helped me develop my personal and professional skills, such as communication, teamwork, time management, and taking responsibility. It also prepared me for the job market through training and coaching, which increased my self-confidence and made it easier for me to find a job opportunity.

I advise organizations to give young women the chance to prove themselves, because many of them are ambitious and eager to learn and grow. When young women are given trust and support, they can become successful, dedicated employees and bring real value to the company.

I am currently working at Araxs Centrum and they welcomed me warmly and provided me with the training and guidance I needed at the beginning of my job. My manager and colleagues were also very supportive, which helped me adapt quickly and gain confidence in performing my responsibilities.

Learning never stops because every day we gain new skills and experiences. At LP4Y, I learned many skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management. Even after I started working, I continue to learn new things every day from my colleagues and through my work experience. One of the most important skills I developed is communication. At first, I was shy about talking to new people, but through the daily activities, presentations, and teamwork at LP4Y, I became more confident. Now, I can communicate easily with customers and my colleagues at work.

My biggest challenge was adapting to the new work environment and taking on new responsibilities. At first, I felt nervous, but thanks to the skills and experience I gained from LP4Y, I was able to adapt quickly and overcome these challenges.
